BriarWood is located on the ATV trails that border Clark County forest which offers 133,000 acres of the best ATV riding in the state. Not to mention horseback riding, nature walks, snowmobling, cross country skiing, hunting and of course the best wildlife. All within access from your campsite - No trailering! You can watch a local softball game or fish at the Fairchild pond. Coon Fork Lake is located 7 miles west of BriarWood on Hwy H which offers both swimming and fishing.

Trails closed March 15th to May 1st Clark Couty Trails open May 1st and Jackson County Trails open May 15th. The Buffalo State Trail is open all year. (Fairchild to Mondovi - 60 miles round trip) Out of State seasonal passes are available @ the local Cenex station - fee of $18.00 ea. 500 Miles of ATV Trails or Legal street driven Motorcycles All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Trail PassWisconsin law requires those who use Wisconsin ATV trails to display either Wisconsin registration or an ATV trail pass. Funds from this program will be designated for use as trail aids and related costs to enhance all Wisconsin ATV recreation. The trail pass may be purchased online at our Online Licensing Center, The $18.00 non-resident ATV trail use pass is valid from July 1st through June 30th. - An ATV trail pass is required to operate an ATV.
- The trail pass must be permanently affixed by its own adhesive in a highly visible location on the forward half of the ATV.
- Once affixed, the sticker may not be removed or transferred to another ATV.
When used safely and wisely an all terrain vehicle (ATV) can provide a source of fun and family recreation. With safety in mind, an all-terrain vehicle can be a useful tool for work and a great means of exploring the outdoors.

All non-street legal motorcycles may operate on the designated Knobby Ridge motorcycle trail.
