Clark County trails are OPEN until March 15, 2010 (Closed during WI Deer gun season and the spring thaw  3/15/10 to 5/1/10).     Jackson County Trails closed 10/15/009 and reopen May 15, 2010. The Buffalo State Trail is open all year. (Fairchild to Mondovi - 60 miles round trip)   Out of State seasonal passes are available @ the local Cenex station - fee of $35.00 ea. (pass good all year)  or they can be purchased on line listed below.  500 Miles of ATV Trails or  Legal street driven Motorcycles All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Trail Pass Wisconsin law requires those who use Wisconsin ATV trails to display either Wisconsin registration or an ATV trail pass. Funds from this program will be designated for use as trail aids and related costs to enhance all Wisconsin ATV recreation. The trail pass may be purchased online at our Online Licensing Center,  The $35.00 non-resident (yearly) ATV trail use pass is valid from July 1st through June 30th. An ATV trail pass is required to operate an ATV. The trail pass must be permanently affixed by its own adhesive in a highly visible location on the forward half of the ATV. Once affixed, the sticker may not be removed or transferred to another ATV. When used safely and wisely an all terrain vehicle (ATV) can provide a source of fun and family recreation. With safety in mind, an all-terrain vehicle can be a useful tool for work and a great means of exploring the outdoors. BriarWood is located in the Midst of the ATV trails  for Clark - Jackson - Eau Claire & Trempeleau Couty Trails system.

All non-street legal motorcycles may operate on the designated Knobby Ridge motorcycle trail.
